Rather than starting as a sketch on paper, this piece was made digitally first.
Like "The White Tree", this was another piece where I was experimenting with brush-tip lining, though this time I decided to limit the brush-tip usage to the building and scenery, while the other subjects would use simple nib liners. Also trying to find balance between lined and un-lined.
Flat colors. A lot of my watercolor work takes inspiration from illustrators like Heikala, and I remember thinking of her work while adding the different brick colors to the building.
