Commissioned by someone to “draw sonic but as a meat-on-a-bone” so they could have it as a phone wallpaper. Well, uh, challenge accepted? I guess? I got paid for this right?

Sketch. Getting arms and legs into this felt ... odd, so I tried for a kind of limbless-look like Rayman. Thankfully the commissioner approved.
Lines and coloring was very straightforward, but when it came to the background I had a lot of different thinks to try. The commissioner wanted to have it feel like Sonic Mania aesthetically, and this was one of the passes I did to give them options.
